In this agreement "MesaDX" refers to the MesaDX executable, MesaDX.exe, as well as any support files required for correct software operation.
All files in the MesaDX distribution including, but not limited to, the MesaDX executable and its support files are "Free-ware" and are licensed for private (non-commercial) use.
MesaDX may be distributed in unmodified form to any medium. Modified versions of MesaDX may not be distributed without the written permission of Eric R. Quinn (hereafter referred to as the "Author.")
The MesaDX distribution must, at the very least, include all files necessary for correct operation of MesaDX, as well as this license agreement (License.html.) The MesaDX distribution must not include material copyrighted by any parties other than the Author. Inclusion of commercial game cartridge ROM images (or "ROMs") in the MesaDX distribution is absolutely forbidden. Additionally, any person, persons, or entity in possession of a MesaDX distribution (such a person, persons, or entity hereafter referred to as "Users") contacting the Author regarding the location or procurement of ROMs waives their right to license MesaDX.
MesaDX may not be sold under any circumstances, including, but not limited to being sold as a part of a commercial package, or as "Share-ware", without the written permission of the Author.
The Author will not be held responsible for damage of any kind resulting in the use, storage, or transmission of MesaDX. MesaDX is provided purely "As-Is."
As part of this license agreement, any User that encounters suspected incorrect operation of MesaDX (a "Bug") is required to report, to the Author, the nature of such Bug. (Please see the MesaDX Home Page for information on how to file a MesaDX Bug Report.)
